Job Description
A well-kept store keeps a factory or workshop running, and Job Vista is hiring Store Keepers across Gujarat to look after materials with care. The role suits people who like order, accuracy and being the one everybody trusts to find the right item.
Key responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials, check them against purchase orders and prepare goods receipt notes.
- Store items in the right racks and bins with clear labels so they can be found quickly.
- Issue material to production or site staff against proper slips and update the stock register.
- Carry out regular physical stock counts and report shortages, damages or slow-moving items.
- Maintain records in Excel or accounting software and share daily stock reports.
- Keep the store clean, safe and free from pilferage, and follow first-in first-out practice.
- Tag, bin and cycle-count fast-moving items so that frequent requests are met without delay.
Who can apply
Freshers are welcome and experienced store keepers are encouraged to apply. A 10th or 12th pass certificate is enough, and a graduate degree or a basic computer course is a plus. People who have worked in a hardware, warehouse or workshop store will find the routine familiar.
Skills that help
Good memory for item names and codes, neat handwriting and data entry, basic computer skills, honesty, physical fitness for material handling and the discipline to follow stock procedures are valued.
Work locations
Stores are located in Surat and also in Vapi, Bharuch and Ankleshwar where industrial units need dependable stock handling.
