Taking over an app someone else built
Many of our AMC clients come to us because the original developer is no longer available. We start with a handover audit: we collect credentials and access, map the hosting, back everything up, check that the code in production matches the code in the repository, and list the risks. Only then do we start making changes, and the first changes are usually security updates and working backups.
If the audit shows the system is too fragile to maintain economically, we say so and give you options: stabilise and keep, partly rebuild, or migrate to something new.
What is not covered
An AMC is for keeping a system healthy and making small improvements. New modules, redesigns and large features are quoted separately, at a fixed price after a free consultation, so your maintenance fee stays predictable. Third-party licences, hosting fees and paid APIs are billed at cost or paid by you directly.

Frequently asked questions
Can you maintain software built by another company?
Yes. We start with a handover audit to secure access, back everything up and list risks, then maintain it under a normal AMC.
What does a software AMC cost?
It depends on the size of the system, its hosting and the support tier. We give a fixed annual or monthly quote after reviewing the system.
What counts as a small change?
Content, labels, fields, simple reports and workflow tweaks that take a few hours. Larger features are quoted separately.
Do you also host the application?
We can, or we maintain it on your own hosting or cloud account. Either way you keep ownership and access.
Do you support WordPress sites?
Yes: updates, security hardening, backups and fixes. We can also help migrate a WordPress site to a custom application, as we did for our own platform.
Is there a minimum contract period?
AMCs are usually annual so we can plan updates, but we agree terms per client after the first review.
