Sales Engineer
Job Description
Technical products need technically sound people to sell them, and Job Vista is hiring Sales Engineers across Gujarat for electrical and instrumentation businesses. You will talk to engineers and purchase teams in their language and help them choose the right solution.
Key responsibilities
- Meet industrial customers, understand their requirement and recommend suitable electrical or instrumentation products.
- Prepare technical offers, quotations and tender documents with correct specifications.
- Coordinate with the design, stores and dispatch teams so that orders are delivered correctly.
- Handle technical queries, arrange product demonstrations and support customers after sale.
- Build long-term relationships with plant engineers, contractors and purchase managers.
- Track enquiries to closure and report progress and market information to the sales head.
- Visit sites with the technical team to survey requirements before offers are finalised.
Who can apply
Freshers with the right qualification are welcome, and experienced sales engineers are encouraged to apply. A diploma or B.E. or B.Tech in electrical, electronics or instrumentation is preferred. Engineers moving from a service or design role into sales are also welcome.
Skills that help
Sound technical basics, ability to read datasheets and drawings, clear presentation skills, comfort with quotation software and Excel, willingness to travel and good negotiation sense help you succeed.
Work locations
Work is based in Surat and Ahmedabad, along with Vadodara, Vapi and Bharuch, where large industrial customers are located.
