Job Description
Plants and workshops depend on skilled hands to keep power and controls running, and Job Vista is hiring Electrical Technicians across Gujarat. You will install, maintain and repair electrical systems so that machines never stay down for long.
Key responsibilities
- Install and maintain wiring, switchgear, control panels and lighting at the plant or site.
- Diagnose faults in motors, starters, drives and sensors, and carry out quick repairs.
- Perform preventive maintenance and keep a log of checks and replacements.
- Read circuit diagrams and follow instructions from the electrical engineer or supervisor.
- Ensure earthing, lockout and other safety rules are followed during every job.
- Support instrumentation and calibration work when required.
- Assist during shutdowns and commissioning, and tidy and label cable runs after work.
Who can apply
Freshers are welcome and experienced technicians are encouraged to apply. An ITI in electrician or wireman trade, or a diploma in electrical engineering, is suitable. Candidates with a helper background who want to move up to a technician role are welcome.
Skills that help
Good practical knowledge of wiring and motors, fault-finding ability, safe working habits, comfort with a multimeter and hand tools, readiness for shift duty and a willingness to learn new equipment are valued.
Work locations
Positions are available in Surat and in Vapi, Ankleshwar and Bharuch, where many industrial units are based.
