Embroidery is a signature craft of Surat, and Job Vista is hiring Embroidery Designers across Gujarat to keep it fresh and detailed. You will create stitch-ready designs that bring fabrics to life, working between creative ideas and machine reality. Employers value designers who understand both art and machines, since a design only succeeds when it stitches cleanly at production speed.
Key responsibilities
- Create original embroidery patterns and motifs for garments, sarees and home textiles
- Convert artwork into stitch files using embroidery digitising software
- Plan stitch types, density, thread colours and placement
- Check sample stitch-outs and fix puckering, gaps and thread breaks
- Adapt designs to customer requests and market trends
- Coordinate with machine operators and production staff
- Maintain an organised library of designs and stitch files
Who can apply
A bachelor's degree in design or textiles is preferred, and a diploma or hands-on skill in embroidery design is valued. Freshers with a good eye and a basic portfolio are welcome. Experienced embroidery designers and digitisers are encouraged to apply.
