Every fast and secure application has a strong engine behind it. Job Vista is hiring Backend Developers across Gujarat to build the servers, databases and APIs that power web and mobile products. You will work on the logic that users never see but always depend on, which makes careful engineering especially rewarding.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build server side services and APIs that are fast, secure and easy to maintain.
- Model data and write optimised queries for relational and NoSQL databases.
- Add authentication, validation and logging so that applications stay safe.
- Integrate payment, messaging and other third party services.
- Find and fix bottlenecks, bugs and scalability problems in production code.
- Write documentation and unit tests, and take part in code reviews.
- Plan database migrations and releases so that updates cause no downtime.
Who can apply
If you are just starting out, this is a good entry point; if you already have experience, we would love to hear from you too. A bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, BCA, MCA or a related field is the listed qualification.
Skills that help
Python, Node.js, Java or PHP, database design, REST API principles, Git, basic cloud knowledge and security awareness help you do well in this role.
Work locations
Positions are available in Surat and in Ahmedabad and Vadodara. Backend teams generally work from offices, and some employers allow hybrid days.
