Job Description
Surat's textile and garment trade moves with fashion, and Job Vista is hiring Fashion Designers across Gujarat to shape what comes next. You will turn trends and ideas into collections that customers want to wear, from first sketch to finished garment. Employers want designers who combine imagination with practical sense, knowing what will sell, what can be stitched and what suits the fabric on hand.
Key responsibilities
- Research trends, fabrics, colours and customer preferences
- Create sketches, mood boards and design concepts for clothing and accessories
- Develop seasonal collections and range plans
- Work with pattern makers, tailors and production teams to create samples
- Select fabrics, trims and embellishments within cost limits
- Review samples for fit, finish and quality and suggest corrections
- Present designs to merchandisers and buyers
Who can apply
A bachelor's degree or diploma in fashion design or a related field is preferred. Fresh design graduates with a portfolio are very welcome. Experienced designers are encouraged to apply.
