Key responsibilities
- Plan and carry out internal, statutory and compliance audits as per the audit programme.
- Examine ledgers, vouchers, bank statements and financial statements for accuracy.
- Test internal controls and point out weak areas with practical recommendations.
- Verify compliance with GST, TDS, income tax and other applicable rules.
- Prepare working papers, observations and clear audit reports for review.
- Discuss findings with management and follow up on corrective action.
- Stay current with changes in tax law, accounting standards and audit practice.
Who can apply
Freshers are welcome to apply, and experienced candidates are strongly encouraged to apply as well. A bachelor's degree, preferably in commerce, is the listed qualification, and CA, CMA or articleship experience is highly valued.
Skills that help
Knowledge of accounting standards, Tally or similar software, advanced Excel, analytical thinking, sharp attention to detail and integrity in handling sensitive records help you in this field.
Work locations
Roles are spread across Surat, Ahmedabad and Vadodara. Audit work is split between office desks and visits to client or branch locations.
