Job Description
We are looking for a results-driven SEO Specialist to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of search engine algorithms and a proven track record of improving organic search rankings. As an SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO strategies to drive organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and enhance the overall digital presence of our brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keyword Research: Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify high-value keywords and phrases to target.
- On-Page Optimization: Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and URLs for search engines to improve organic search rankings.
- Content Strategy: Collaborate with the content team to develop and implement an effective content strategy that aligns with SEO goals.
- Technical SEO: Perform regular technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues related to site architecture, page speed, mobile usability, and crawl errors.
- Link Building: Develop and execute a link-building strategy to improve the site’s authority and search engine rankings.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools. Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders.
- Competitive Analysis: Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats, and adjust SEO strategies accordingly.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to ensure the company’s SEO efforts remain effective.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the web development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code.
Skill & Experience:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in SEO or a related digital marketing role.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and Screaming Frog.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Content Skills: Strong content optimization skills and understanding of content marketing.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
- Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Adaptability: Ability to stay updated with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes.
