Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet quality standards and specifications through rigorous testing and inspection processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of quality tests, inspection results, and corrective actions taken.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance product quality and efficiency.
  • Non-Conformance Management: Investigate and document non-conformance issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions to address root causes.
  • Supplier Quality: Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and ensure that incoming materials meet quality requirements.
  • Training: Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to product quality and safety.

Skill & Experience:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Quality Control Experience: Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance roles, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels to achieve common goals.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA regulations) is a plus.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with quality control tools and techniques, such as statistical process control (SPC) and Six Sigma, is desirable.
