Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and creative Embroidery Designer to join our design team. The Embroidery Designer will be responsible for creating unique and visually stunning embroidery designs for our products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for embroidery, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to translate concepts into intricate and beautiful designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Development: Develop original embroidery designs for a variety of products, including apparel, accessories, and home decor items.
• Pattern Creation: Create embroidery patterns and motifs, considering factors such as scale, placement, and color coordination.
• Digitization: Digitize embroidery designs using specialized software, ensuring compatibility with embroidery machines.
• Sample Production: Oversee the production of embroidery samples, providing guidance and feedback to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Customization: Work with clients to develop custom embroidery designs tailored to their specific needs and preferences.
• Material and Thread Selection: Select appropriate materials, threads, and embellishments for each embroidery design, considering factors such as texture, color, and durability.
• Quality Control: Conduct quality control checks on finished embroidery products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of design specifications, materials used, and production processes.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the design team, as well as production and sales teams, to ensure seamless execution of design projects.

Skill & Experience:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field; additional certifications or coursework in embroidery design is a plus.
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience as an embroidery designer, preferably in a similar industry or setting.
• Creative Skills: Strong creative skills with the ability to develop original and innovative embroidery designs.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in embroidery design software, such as Wilcom or Pulse, and knowledge of embroidery machine operation.
• Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and precision in design execution.
• Color Theory: Knowledge of color theory and color coordination principles to create visually appealing designs.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients and translate design concepts into tangible products.
