Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant to join our team. The Chartered Accountant will play a key role in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to drive financial performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide accurate and timely financial information to stakeholders.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with management to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and requirements, including preparation and filing of tax returns, tax planning, and managing tax audits.
  • Audit Management: Coordinate and manage external audits, including liaising with auditors, preparing audit schedules, and addressing audit findings and recommendations.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, and provide actionable insights to management.
  • Internal Controls: Implement and maintain internal controls and procedures to safeguard assets, ensure accuracy of financial records, and prevent fraud.
  • Cash Management: Manage cash flow and liquidity, including monitoring cash balances, optimizing cash flow, and managing banking relationships.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies, and provide guidance on accounting treatment for complex transactions.

Skill & Experience:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Chartered Accountant (CA) designation required.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in accounting and finance roles, with a proven track record of managing financial operations and providing strategic financial guidance.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical accounting skills with a deep understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, analyze trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely to stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, research solutions, and implement effective resolutions.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to lead and develop a team of finance professionals.
