Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and responsible Merchandiser who can efficiently handle customer requirements, fabric sourcing, order follow-up, and market visits. The candidate should possess excellent communication skills, strong follow-up abilities, and a good understanding of customer processes to ensure timely execution and delivery of orders.

Office Timing: 10:00 to 6:00
Location: Palsana
Gender Preference: Male
Salary : 35k to 40k

Key Responsibilities
1. Fabric Sourcing
• Source fabrics as per customer requirements and specifications.
• Coordinate with suppliers for pricing, availability, and quality.
• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships.
2. Customer Communication
• Maintain regular communication with customers regarding order status.
• Handle customer queries and requirements professionally.
• Ensure clear and timely information flow between customers and internal departments.
3. Customer Process Management
• Understand customer requirements, standards, and approval processes.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications throughout the order cycle.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams to meet customer expectations.
4. Timely Delivery Management
• Monitor order progress and ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with production, planning, and logistics teams.
• Proactively identify and resolve delays.
5. Reprocess / Remake Follow-up
• Track rework and remake orders.
• Coordinate with concerned departments for corrective actions.
• Ensure timely closure of quality-related issues.
6. Sales Return / Goods Return Process
• Handle customer complaints related to returned goods.
• Coordinate investigation and resolution of return cases.
• Maintain records and reports of returned goods.
7. Order Management & Follow-up
• Receive customer orders and enter them into the system.
• Follow up on order execution from sampling to final dispatch.
• Ensure all milestones are completed within committed timelines.
8. Market Visits & Field Work
• Visit customers, suppliers, and markets as required.
• Conduct market surveys and gather industry information.
• Develop business relationships and identify new opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and follow-up abilities.
• Good knowledge of merchandising and customer handling processes.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Email Communication, and ERP systems (preferred).
• Willingness to travel and perform field visits.

Experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Merchandising or a related field.
