Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Merchandiser with a strong background in textiles. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of various fabrics, their sources, and a proven track record in the textile industry. You will be responsible for sourcing materials, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring smooth production and delivery processes.

Salary Range: – No Bar for Right Candidate
Office Time: 10 to 6
Experience: – Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in relevant industry.

Key Responsibilities:
• Fabric Knowledge & Sourcing:
o Identify and source various types of fabrics from domestic and international suppliers.
o Stay updated on textile market trends, pricing, and fabric innovations.
o Evaluate fabric quality and negotiate pricing with vendors.
• Product Development & Coordination:
o Work closely with design and production teams to ensure fabric selection meets quality standards and cost requirements.
o Coordinate sampling and approvals for fabric and trims.
o Maintain relationships with fabric mills, vendors, and manufacturers.
• Order & Supply Chain Management:
o Monitor the entire supply chain process, from fabric procurement to final production.
o Track order status, ensure timely deliveries, and resolve supply chain challenges..
• Client & Vendor Communication:
o Act as the main point of contact between buyers, suppliers, and manufacturers.
o Communicate order details, specifications, and requirements effectively.
o Address any quality concerns or production issues promptly.

Requirements:
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in textile merchandising or a related role.
• Fabric Knowledge: Strong understanding of woven, knitted, and specialty fabrics and their sources.
• Industry Experience: Must have prior experience in the textile/apparel industry.

• Skills:
o Strong negotiation and communication skills.
o Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
